Robyn & Tom Engagement by Ben Winnington

City Engagement shoots are the one.

When you end up getting unplanned breakfast at Yorks in Birmingham with a couple before a shoot; you know you're going to get along just fine.

Tom and Robyn are my kind of people. Both in the food industry, easy going, into music, like a good Netflix binge and know about wine. Needless to say we chatted as old friends would over our eggs royale and coffee.

The pair were a joy to be around. They are clearly still as besotted with each other as they were when they first met. They joked around with each other all morning, and it was great to see how comfortable with each other they are.

In the words of Tom "A wedding will happen"... and mate, I can't wait!

Thank you both for being completely awesome company, and such a pleasure to photograph on such a bitterly cold morning. See you in the spring folks.

Houw & Heather wedding 16.06.17 by Ben Winnington

A beautiful Friday.

We've got to know Houw and Heather really well throughout this whole process and so it was an absolute joy and a privilege to be able to photograph their wedding day.

We arrived at Heathers hotel room early to find the girls relaxing, chatting, laughing and being pampered; and already I felt like I was walking into a room full of old mates. The bridal party were all so welcoming, friendly and chatty, and I knew the day would be a blast.

Ben left the girls to join the boys down the pub. (eager for a drink)

The whole wedding party arrived at the beautiful Shustoke Farm Barn venue in true vintage style, filling out two VW camper vans.

The rest of the day flowed beautifully, with plenty of laughs, tears, old friends, great food and wild dancing. Needless to say it was the perfect way to kick start our wedding season and we felt like we were guests with a huge group of friends all day long.

We can't wish Houw and the beautiful Heather enough happiness as they start their lives as Mr & Mrs Ridley.

Thank you so much for having us.
